Did you know our Sun will burn out its nuclear fuel in 5 billion years?
I've found it out not so long ago and it made me think: what's next? I understand it is kind of ridiculous to think billions of years ahead. Human as a species itself exists for only around one hundred years. But still. To me it's a little bit weird to realize our home, this peice of cosmos art will come to extinguishing one day and there is nothing to do about it. Simply to take it as it is.
It is also known by now that life on Earth exist for around 4.6 billion years. It means our planet is a half way right now. So if something terrible happens, some kind of a global catasrophe and we don't survive... The good thing is Mother Nature with its Father Evolution will have one more chance. And who knows what might be next "homo sapiens"?! If it's all about the evolution it is logical to assume that say a bear has a chance to be smart, or some reptile. We have a talking reptile "messiah" on TV and in another 4 billion years from now it'll be real.

that kind of stuff is strange to think about.. there will be advances in thinking, and science, that will radically change outlook and insight - in the near years to come. I ponder these ideas myself from time to time.. I have come to realize there really is no time, like the present!
