What does it mean I/you/we have time? Or, better, what is it, time? "Time is a component of the measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify the motions of objects". Defenition given by Wikipedia. The very first sentence. The more I learn about time the more I understand it's a very complex subject. It can easily form a separate part of philosophy. Or even a separate sience. It's that big. Even bigger.
Fourth dimension. That's what makes me really curious right now. We live in a three dimension space and some theories say time is a fourth one. And obviously we can travel in this 3-D space. No questions about it. So can the "time dimension" be same flexible? What are the real concepts of the machine that can conquer time? Concepts of the time machine?
Wikipedia says it's fictional device. As we all know from the past all fiction sooner or later becomes true. Does it concern our time machine? Honestly I can hardly imagine time travel. I'm being a little bit sceptic. What a mess it could create! The best way I can come up with to describe it is "Back to the future". Remember? Well, I love it, I've seen it for I don't know how many times.
Meeting your pops or grandparents or your "unborn in real life" kids. Or say, to appear in the middle of a battle and get killed. Or eaten by a dinosaur. What then?! I don't know.
The only option I see is human brains. It won't allow to travel deep into the past nor far into the future. A couple of electrodes will be connected to a human's head and here we go. You'll be able to experience your own life all over again, with no opportunity to influence the real life. And it's not going to be a virtual reality. Parts of the brains will be activated in a way you'll be able to touch things, to smell, to taste. Even to talk to people and hear their voices. You won't even know it's not real until disconnected. Also, based on your past, computer will generate a "show" of your future. It' going to be just incredible!
Later on, scientists might discover DNA stores information not only "what it is" but what was going on in the history of this particular DNA as well. And that would be even more impresive. Such data would take us to any point of the past and would give more precise vision of the future...
